01 · The bathroom mirror
We grew up sharing almost everything.
A bedroom for a while. Clothes that somehow changed ownership. A bathroom mirror that was never quite big enough for two. Secrets whispered long after we were supposed to be asleep.
And, eventually, beauty.
Not the perfect kind.
The real kind.
Getting ready together on the floor in front of a mirror. One doing her hair while the other searched for the mascara she definitely hadn’t borrowed.
- Trying things we probably shouldn’t have.
- Stealing each other’s products.
- Giving completely unsolicited opinions.
02 · Lives of our own
As we got older, the rituals changed.
The bathroom floor became busy mornings, workdays, dinners, pregnancies, late nights and lives of our own. Our routines became different too.
One of us likes to take her time.
The other would happily find a way to get ready in seven minutes.
But somehow, we kept coming back to the same thing. Those little moments.
- A few quiet minutes in the morning.
- Doing your skin before going out.
- Fixing your brows before the rest of the house wakes up.
- Taking your make-up off after a very good night.
- Sitting together with a drink and talking about absolutely everything and nothing.
It started with a mirror.
One that was never quite big enough for two.

GETTING READY TOGETHER.
Borrowed mascara.
Stolen clothes.
Unsolicited advice.
And secrets that somehow only came out in front of the mirror.
02 · Life happened
THEN LIFE GOT BUSIER.
Work. Mornings. Dinners. Late nights. Pregnancy. Everything in between.
The rituals changed.
The feeling didn’t.
03 · Two different sisters

Somehow, it works.
04 · The realisation

It was about how we felt in front of it.

THE LITTLE RITUALS GREW UP WITH US.
So we gave them a home.
